Jay received his law degree from the University of British Columbia and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2008. He articled and practiced at a large civil litigation firm in Vancouver before working as a federal prosecutor in Port Coquitlam and New Westminster. More recently, he has taken time off to look after his young son and lecture as a Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law. He joined Lakes, Whyte LLP in November, 2010 and practices in the areas of criminal prosecution, criminal defence and civil litigation. A native of Vancouver Island, Jay is thrilled to be living and working on the North Shore.
